Who We Are

The Celiac Society for Delhi (CSD), the first and only non-profit organisation has made it its mission to create awareness on early diagnosis and management of celiac disease.

Incorporated in May, 2006 under the patronship of Prof. M.K. Bhan, Secretary, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology and formerly, professor at AIIMS in the Department of Pediatrics, the society brings together eminent practitioners in the field of medicine, education and the food industry.

The society is gravely concerned at the increasing prevalence of celiac diseases amongst Indians in recent years and has decided to launch Beat Celiac! – a 12-point prevention programme.
