Spread awareness in schools about the disease and its management.
Inform teachers and peer groups about the severity of the disease.
Educatecaterers and/or the canteen staff about a gluten free diet and try to include some gluten free foods in the school canteen.
Create regular class alerts on the disease through workshops, talks, etc.
Encourage students to bring packed lunches.
Advise students on not sharing their lunch box with others and not eating commercially available food if in doubt.
